The Kindred Radiant Ladies Night Gala is a ladies-only fundraiser dinner, that brings diverse music and cuisine to a multicultural audience. This event particularly provides a chance for newcomer and racialized women to attend a social event that gives them a sense of belonging. The women, from all walks of life, can make connections in the community, find ways to better contribute and become productive members.
CMW is a corporate member of Kitchener Rotary and a registered not for profit Waterloo Region charity established in 2010. The Coalition works with local Muslims and other minorities, especially women, empowering them to be leaders and changemakers. The non-profit operates with the help of hundreds of volunteers, dozens of members, and a strong team of staff members. The CMW’s main programming innovatively addresses gender- based violence and racism, anti-Islamophobia and hate-related incidents. They also provide social and economic integration opportunities to area racialized women and youth.
